What we accomplished in the Year 2000 and 2001!
January, 2000, We had the Bellydance New Years Eve Party
February, 2000, we had our annual students night at Casa Blanca
April, May, June and July, 2000, Jodette's Tribal Troupe danced every Thursday night in Downtown Sacramento.
April 21, 2000, we held our Annual Homeless Benefit Show and it was a Smash!
August and September, 2000, Jodette's Troupe, Jewel's of the Nile, danced at the California State Fair
December, 2000, we had the Bellydancers Christmas Party
In January, 2001, we held our Bellydancer's New Years Eve Party
February, 2001, we had Badia Samraa El Neel for a workshop and evening show! 48 attended the workshop. Over 200 showed for the evening show!
In February we also held a party for Jodette's Studio's Grand Opening!
Champagne and Hor D'Ervs were served. Following the opening we held the evening show at the Taj Mahal Restaurant.
April, 2001, we had our Homeless Benefit Show, Workshop and the Queen of the Nile Contest - With His Majesty, Jack El Asmar, Nashwa from Egypt, and Badia Samraa El Neel. 53 attended the workshop and over 300 attended the evening show.
May, 2001, Jodette's Troupe performed at the Asparagus Festival in Stockton.
June 28 and 29, 2001, Jodette's Troupe will perform at the Renessaince fair in Sacramento.
July 4th, 2001, Jodette's Troupe will dance in the 4th of July Parade
August 26, 2001, Jodette's Troupe will be dancing at the California State Fair.
August 11, 2001, Fathiem of Los Angeles, will be conducting a workshop at Jodette's Studio and an evening show at the Taj Mahal Restaurant.
September 9, 2001, Jodette's Troupe, Jewels of the Nile will be dancing at the Middle Eastern International Festival in Sacramento
November 3, 2001, His Majesty, Jack El Asmar will be coming back to Sacramento with Great Demand, for a Workshop at Jodette's Studio. He will be teaching hip movements with drum solo. His drummer, Mr. Dahdooli, will be teaching drumming.
December, 2001, as usual will be the Dancers Christmas Party at Casa Blanca.
